Franck Muller 1000-SC wrist watches news:
New EF-558D EDIFICE Chronograph men Watch EF-558D-1AV Found this Casio Edifice on eBay for a mere $22 free shipping, BIN, but it's from China and that seems WAY too good to be true. Anyone know about these? The seller posted a few pics of the actual watch as opposed to the stock image, the seller has 96% feedback, only uses Paypal, and says the watch is "100% authentic". I just wanna be sure. Here's a pic from the seller. Thanks!558D-1AV-07.jpg
Hello, I'm new to this site and The Hamilton Forum and was wondering if I could get some advice.I'm Have been looking for a vintage Hamilton Automatic for a while now and have come across a VINTAGE HAMILTON K-450 AUTOMATIC for sale for $100.00 on Ebay,17 JEWEL, AUTOMATIC/SELFWINDING MOVEMENT SET IN A 10 KARAT YELLOW GOLD FILLED BEZEL, STAINLESS STEEL BACK. The Jeweler is saying it's flawless and runs beautiful giving it a 110% guarantee on it. I have been trying to see what other Hamilton's of this vintage go for but can find anything. What do think of this price ?and what is the most I should pay. Thanks for your help and I look forward to learning more about Vintage Hamiltons.
If y'all remember, I said something about a DateJust that was purchased in Vietnam.Well, I've got good news and bad news. The good news is it's mine. The bad news is it's already gone to the watchmakers.I did take a few closeups of the dial to verify originality and I have the sellers pictures.Made in the fourth quarter of 1968, this black dial DateJust was certified by the COSC on 01/31/1969 and sold in the PX in Vietnam in August of that same year. The tattered box looks original. The manual, COSC papres and reciept all bear the SN of the watch. Take a gander. What do you think?Let me tell you, It's hard to take a picture of a matte black pie pan dial.
I love the Bentley motors and Navitimer world watch with the white faces. I have 3 rolex watches but wanted to take a walk on the wild side but stay classic. I like the steel band but would get a few croc straps too.Anything I should watch out for from a model stand point or year of build.Much thanksJimmy
How freely should the rotor move on a 335?I've noticed that my normal activity (commute via bicycle to and from work ~12min each way) and walking around work all day (estimated to be 10-20K steps/ day), do not seem to be keeping my recently acquired pre-owned Panerai 335 wound. When viewed through the see-through case back the rotor does not swing as freely as several of my other watches.I do have an identical movement 273 but it is in a safe a few states away from me currently so I do not have the ability to compare at the moment, but from memory, the rotor on that watch moves much more freely. The watch is keeping excellent time - not formally tested, but with 2 weeks of daily wear I have not noticed any creep forward or backward in time shown, no matter the state of power reserve. With the current litany of complaints about Panerai Service Center, I'm a bit loathe to send the watch in unless this is a real issue.
