This week thanks to Montblanc North America, we had two pretty spectacular timepieces from the very highest end of the Montblanc horological ecosystem in the office. Hello All! I am on a bit of wild Omega chase. My mother has told me about a watch that her mother had when she was growing up. She no longer has the watch and doesn't recall the model name. It was definetly an Omega though. The watch was solid gold with a thin,thin bracelet. To see the time on the watch you had to open a "Lid" to reveal the face. The lid was surrounded in diamonds. The watch is believed to be made in the 60's. Any help, pictures or information would be greatly appreaciated.

3rd Year Warranty
Hey guys,I believe this was the first 41mm ROC on the forum and, since time's flown by since the 40th anniversary, it's time to send it in for water testing to get that 3rd year warranty. So what's the opinion these days on:(1) whether one should send it straight to Clearwater VS take it to the AP Boutique to send it in (I live very close to a Boutique, so no hassle there -- but heard stories of scratches happening).(2) do you guys generally get a refinishing done at this ~2 year mark? I don't have any highly noticeable marks, but I'd like to get it refinished if it were just an issue of money, but I don't want to be too wasteful of the limited number of refinishings before bezel/case replacement is needed.Thanks,

127 vs 217 vs 508
Considering current market prices which would you get right now? Have we seen the bottom line with the 127 and 217 or will prices continue to fall? Pretty sure the 508 will lose some steam as well but it's always an interesting take with the SE's.
