Bulgari ST37SS wrist watches news:
Hello pretty lady (watch). How are you doing? This is a good-looking watch, and I am not afraid to admit it. I wouldn't wear it maybe, but I'd check out the woman who was. An alternative to Cartier in style and refinement (but not that long history and multitude of celebrity lovers) Bedat & Co. is a sexy little number you should be saving up for to get her - if you really care that is. Ladies, if you are reading this. Have no qualms about setting your heart on one of these. The No. 8 watch comes in two sizes (about 26.5mm wide for the 827 model - with a Swiss quartz movement, and 36.5mm wide in the 828 that has a Swiss automatic movement in it). The No. 8 also has a double row of diamonds on the bezel, a nicely textured dial with unique blued-steel hands, a smooth 5-link bracelet. Oh, how I just love to touch its soft curves...Read my article on the Bedat & Co. No. 8 watch over at Haute Living here. Best MatchItems Ending FirstNewly-Listed Items FirstPrice + Shipping: Lowest F
I hope I'm not overstepping myself here, I think the AWF appreciates vintage the most (as a group) and I wanted to share this one here. I believe it is later and Swiss but what the hay.I bought it in poor condition specifically because I've never seen a "fabric" dial before. Hopefully someone can tell me more about it!
By my count there are 3 Ovals on eBay currently and they all started fairly recently. In my short time of scouring eBay religiously I have never seen one before. Thoughts on these? I'm drooling. Cheers!
Over the last couple weeks I've been pleasantly surprised with the Christopher Ward Malvern C5. First impression was that it's a little thick and heavy, but it's decently balanced on the wrist. It's also pretty comfortable, despite that I'm not a big fan of bracelets. Here are some of the positives and negatives:There are gaps in the bracelet as shown in the photo below. This is most likely because I have a smaller wrist and it would lay more evenly around a larger wrist, but the case is only 38 mm so I don't know if it would appeal to somebody larger. It's not really that bad but you can see it is noticeable between the end and first links:There is also no A/R coating that I can see, but that's not a big issue either. A/R makes black dials look bluish. This is still a very clean and legible dial. The lume in the numbers could be better, but the hands are bright enough.BTW, I like having the 3 on the dial instead of it being replaced by the date window. The clasp doesn't have
Got the call from the AD today that my 5712 is in. They are shipping it to me as we speak. I am beyond excited. I got a 5711 in September from the same AD, which was very much a fluke, but have always had the 5712 on my mind since getting the 5711. Will post a pic when it arrives. All of the pictures posted on this site have made me very confident the 5712 is the one for me.
