Omega PO vs. Girard Perragaux Seahawk, anyone with experience?
I am currently looking to add to my collection and have settled on one of these two choices. I am looking at preowned and found a 42mm Omega PO (orange bezel) and 42mm Girard Perragaux Seahawk II with the reserve de marche feature. I very much like the look of both and prices are similar (PO is a little cheaper but it is on rubber and the Seahawk is on metal hence the slightly higher cost of the Seahawk). My daily wearer now is a no date sub so I would be sharing wrist time with that. I like sport watches, and I'm looking for something that I can wear with OR scrubs and jeans/casual, so it doesn't have to be a watch for all seasons. I have a dress watch when called for. I swim with my watch but I don't dive with it, so differences in water resistance aren't a big concern. My only experience with either brand is a 1950s seamaster I own which is obviously a different beast. Anyone have experience with both and some recommendations?Thanks.

Has anyone heard if they will stop making this reference due to the introduction of the 5230 and if they eventually come out with a platinum version do you guys think it will be a 5131P or 5231P? After reading about the 5230 it was brought to my attention that some of the city names have been changed on this piece and Moscow relocated which makes me wonder if PP would still continue to make the 5131 as is, modify the city ring, or discontinue.
