When I first laid eyes on the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Grand Feu only one question formed in my mind - Does it come with a tuxedo? I'm going to need a tux to pull that off. With a dial of super heated Gran Feu enamel, JLC has found a clever way of adding some visual flare to a very delicate and minimal dress watch design. With a 39mm wide 18k white gold case, the Grand Feu is right in the sweet spot for a proper dress watch and, at just 5 mm thick, it's not going to snag on anything but the tightest of cuffs. The dial is simple, elegant, and beautifully legible with dauphine hands and a subtle inscription of "Email Grand Feu" between the seven and eight markers ("email" is French for enamel). An excellent example of an under-the-radar luxury timepiece, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Grand Feu is the sort of watch that will get the attention of a true enthusiast or Jaeger collector. As if the Master Ultra Thin line was not impressive enough (being one of the thinnest

Hi all just registered so hello to you all. Cracking site with lots of great pics and advice on here. I have just deceided to treat myself to a new watch and thought i would get a german one as ive never had one before. Anyway i am spolit for choice , i do fancy a pilot one maybe a Stowa or a Laco or then again an Archimede so many to choose from. Then i came across the Damasco DA36 i know its not a pilot type but i fell in love with it . My problem is how do i get one in this country ? i phoned Timepieces who was the dealer in the UK for them but they stopped doing them . I phoned a company in Holland who are on the Damasco site as stockists and they told me they are not allowed to send them to the UK?. They were very helpfull and told me to contact a dealership in Switzerland ?This is turning into a right detective saga trying to track one down any advice anyone? btw i have tried to phone Damasco direct but their no is not regognized?cheersTony
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low priceswell there it is .....I hope that you can see the photos that the seller put up ....it shows the dial very well.......I think it's very nice and I am a sucker for watches with engraving around the bezel.....Which brings me to my question .....does that watch look as if it had black paint in the grooves of the design on the bezel ???I almost didn't bid on it, cause the guy lives in Oakland, the town .,..well part of its 30 feet away from my house ! asking him if I could just pick the watch up if I won it ....and he wrote back ....mailing only ...which I thought was a little unfriendly ......or maybe it was just the way he wrote it ...but I lusted after this watch ....sigh ...and bought it anyway......and speaking of the bay ....I also wrote a guy asking about if a Benrus he had...had a crystal ...he had said it needed a new one, but lots of people say that when it's scratched up ....a
I tried on a Grey Side of the Moon Omega over the weekend and was totally impressed by it. I am still a devoted Rolex fan, but the GSotM is absolutely gorgeous. Anyone else here find this watch a worthy addition if all your other watches are Rolex timepieces?
