Zenith 22.1927.4062/80.C714 wrist watches news:
All that has changed in the appearance is the diameter, which has grown to 44 millimetres to suit today's tastes. The watch sits perfectly on the wrist thanks to titanium's many benefits: not only is the material light in weight, but it is particularly skin compatible and resistant to corrosion.
hi gang,we have finally settled into our new house. all the furniture is in placeand the boxes are now empty.we are now in westport, ct 40 miles north of manhattan. westport is famousfor being the home of martha stewart and the late paul newman and his playhouse.it's a beach community with one public and one private beach.i have worn the deep sea for a few weeks and it will be a permanent piece.it's big for a rolex but not any bigger then a big bang, panerai, royal oak etc...it's the biggest watch i have ever worn but i have big wrists and the size doesn't bother me.i love the dome crystal and the bezel looks gray when not in direct sunlight.the clasp is brilliant and is as efficacious as the original clasp was functional.will post more often now since i have finally settled down. clmy two boys running at compo beach...the finest restaurant in westport...the dome, bezel and clasp are a complete home run for me...ps. does my wrist look unusually corpulent in this shot? : (
I've noticed, as of late, how Rolex is starting to update some models of their sports watches. The yacht-master for one, used to be nothing more than a Sub w/a one piece metal bezel. Now it's a completely different watch, for better or worse. The GMT is now a true Sub w/an extra hand, fatter case plus a new clasp. Good show! Before it was a slimmer Sub w/an extra hand. Go figure. Wait, wasn't the Explorer a GMT with a one piece metal bezel? Or was it the other way around? I really hope they continue to update. BTW, Omega has a whole bunch of different Seamaster variants but they are all still Seamasters. What gives?Just kiddingMike
EDIT: Found the crystal....thanks for the help everyone!I've started my restoration of my grandfather's Lester....the crystal is pretty scratched. Thanks!Greg
any clue if these 2 watches are rare and an esitimate on value
