Audemars Piguet VS. Hublot: The Turf Wars Continue In America
The turf wars are getting serious. This time I look at the battle on US soil between Swiss brands Audemars Piguet and Hublot. The heat between them has been on for a few years now. Behind the scenes the fight goes on all the time - with each trying to one up each other. It isn't a battle they publicly acknowledge, but the drama is interesting. Winner, loser? I think in a sense they both win because competition leads to better business and clever thinking.The funny thing is that in my opinion Audemars Piguet and Hublot have vastly different products. I don't even see them as direct competitors exactly. The real models that are in competition with one another are AP's Royal Oak Offshore collection and Hublot's Big Bang collection. I personally see these as being pretty different, but apparently enough people put them in the same basket. Call it the struggle of limited editions! Zenith has just announced that three of its most complicated watches, which premiered this year in new case materials, are now available – and we had a chance recently to go hands-on with the new models, and gather some first impressions of these very exotic and very rarely seen timepieces. Hey Guys,I went and spent some time with the Deep Black today. I loved it when it was announced but thought it would be too big for my 6.5 wrist. Surprisingly, it doesn't wear large at all. Well, it wears large, but not monstrously huge like I thought it would. Also threw on the DSOTM to compare. What do you think? Anybody else interested in this piece? I'm seriously thinking about picking one up.

(Private sale/dealer trade)Omega seamaster 300m chrono 22 55 8000SS with electric blue wave dial and unpainted bezel.I have all boxes, cards, books, including original receipt.I purchased in 2002 from AD.The watch is not for sale...I'm just curious of its value. It's in extremely great shape and well taken care of.I originally purchased this model as it was very different from what most sea masters looked like and thought maybe it would gain more value later on.Thanks
