- Was a gift. The recipient was dissapointed thinking the watch was a mechanical wind-up watch, but otherwise pleased.

- This watch works almost exactly like my old watch so set-up and use was very easy. I wanted this watch because of the large numbers in the display.

Bulgari LCV 29 S wrist watches news:
omega 1.jpgomega 2.jpgSo I just picked this watch up from an auction. (only two pics I have at the moment) In true "Oh Cr*p" fashion Ive bought first and researching later. I don't know what movement is in the watch yet. Just by looking around I havebeen unable to fin anything just like it. That fact is increasing my fear of frankenwatches. Any thoughts from those whoknow more and probably would of known better?
I have an old watch that is a Hamilton and I wanted to clean the band. It was my mother's. I need to know how to separate the face to clean the band of it. And also the glass looks good but the face..is dirty. Can I clean that or does it have to be replaced? It's a mess. I know I am not giving enough information. Please let me know what information is needed. I would appreciate it if someone can tell me what to do.
We have a Japanese forum, why not a German watch forum? WTF has some sponsors that sell German timepieces, and I'm sure some members own one or two or more. Just a thought.
Cold steel at it's best...
Hey guys,I know this is the Rolex forum so I tread lightly on this when I say that I've been a Rolex owner for quite some time over the years and have owned several models but i've been blown away on the craftsmanship from Bretling on the Navitimer 01.I;ve also owned several models of Breitlings over the years including the 7750 based Navitimer back in the early 2000s. Anyway, I decided to sell my Deep Sea and get the Navitimer 01 and I honestly have not looked back. I know they are totally different watches but the Rolex while exciting to own and know it's level of ingenuity...The Breitling is so beautiful and a joy to read and stare at, etc. The chronos are like a tank with this new movt.70+ hour power reserve...unheard of from Breitling previously or Rolex for that matter on most of their watches. I got the 43mm model as the 46mm was too big. I loved the open back but it didn't look right to me at that size.Anyway, if you haven't looked at this watch in-person...go check it out.
