Patek Philippe 5059J wrist watches news:
I like to wear my vintage Longines watches all the time I found this little number very goodfor this purpose.krisIMG_4412.jpgIMG_4416.jpg
what do you think of festina and what do you think of jaques lemans f1 series?? kinda looking into them both and just curious on opinions of the board
This just arrived in the mail today. It is a Hager Commando watch here is the company's description: "The Hager Commando watch is our reinterpretation of an iconic military watch based on the specifications of the British Ministry of Defense and issued to British Royal Marine Commando Special Boat Squadron (SBS) in the 1970s."It is 40mm, AR Sapphire crystal, Seagull movement, NO cyclops and nice blue lume. The watch normally comes with a NATO band but since I am not that hot on NATO bands I have a black leather band. The Hager Watch Co. is a new company from Hagerstown Maryland (USA). The seconds hand sweeps very smoothly (if you go to their website they have a Youtube video of the watch). They do a lot of Quality Control on the movement and case (for water resistance). The cost was only $260.Sad to say for my other watches, this puppy is going to stay on my wrist for quite some time. Here are some photos I took with my very inexpensive digital cameraThe outfitnice box and well written
Once again the Longines reigns supreme! I have 2 watches that aren't on here that got zero wears, my Longines Dolce Vita (needs a service and battery), and my Swiss Military. I think I need to take the Swiss Military out of rotation and retire it. I'll never get rid of it - I'd get too little compared to the sentimental attachment I have. But the competition for my wrist is just too fierce for the old warrior these days!
Hello TRF,My question is a simple one. How long does it take for you to go from the whole process of liking a watch, thinking/research, googling pics on google images, YOUTUBE reviews, etc to FINALLY COUGHING UP THE $$$$ and get that INCOOMMMINNNNG??My experience has been roughly 3-36 months cheers, taco
