i love old film noir classics and recently viewed "Crime Wave" made in 1954A great storya hard-boiled cops and robbers story in which an ex-con who's trying to go straight gets sucked into a plot to rob a bank. The great Sterling Hayden stars as the ultimate tough-guy cop. The producers originally wanted Humphrey Bogart in the role but the director insisted on Hayden.Anyways, there's this scene before the heist in which all the criminals are looking at their Hamilton watches...different Hamilton models for each individual.GREAT film...thought you'd like to know.

I'll try to keep this as close to standard review formats I've seen. My watch is from the Limited Edition run - #6 of 100 made. Comments welcome afterwards, positive or negative! Unlike some colors, the brown is very natural looking. The buckle is in the shape of the "M" in the company's logo. Strap = $290, buckle = $410.Operation: 5/5 - The large crown makes winding and setting simple, and there's a definitive stop when fully wound at @ 35 twist

Even though I have only ever bought Rolex from my AD they offered me both the Vancouver 2010 (125 out of 2010) and Apollo 11 limited edition.Are these really sought after in Omega circles? The box on the Apollo 11 is quite nice.

I've just ordered my first Panerai....a PAM 00050 with steel bracelet plus extra rubber and leather straps on deployment clasp.I now have a Rolex 1972 1603 Datejust (birth year), a Breitling Montbrillant Datora, A Tag Heuer Link Auto Chronograph (40th pressie off my wife last year), a Tag Heuer sports elegance and the incoming Panerai!!
