Right around the time that Blake reviewed the Maratac Pilot, County Comm quietly released a second, smaller model. Dubbed the Maratac Mid Sized Pilot this 39mm version is the same in almost every way, it's just smaller. It has the same Miyota 8245 automatic movement with small seconds, the same domed sapphire crystal, the same dial design and the same cool-little onion crown tucked away at about 4 o'clock.?Ultimately, the qualities and aesthetic of the original Maratac Pilot have been successfully translated to the smaller sized body. Which rose gold would you pick? 44mm Rose Gold Novelty .audemarspiguet/en/wat...O.OO.A002CA.01OR 39mm Rose Gold ROC with the grey slate paul newman style dial with leather strap (full on gold with bracelet is too blingy for my taste).audemarspiguet/en/wat...R.OO.D098CR.02I've always liked the grey slate dial for some reason especially if you see it in person. A timeless classic in my point of view. The 44mm is v nice too but I think I will just find it too bling and big after my initial hype. I'm also in my 30's. Let's say almost mid 30's... So if you were me: go young and trendy with the 44mm or a timeless classic down the road with the 39mm ROC with grey slate Paul Newman style dial? Getting both is outta my budget! I am about to pull triger to buy my second AP. My thought already in 44mm ROO FC since from the beginning i am looking for different material and size for my second AP, the first one is AP panda. Now, my very best friend offers me a LNIB AP GP FC with very good deal. Which one should I get? Is the GP better watch than the 44mm FC? Please give me your thoughts. Cherrs,Michael
