"Planet Ocean" vs "Island Pond"
To be honest (and I've Posted this question elsewhere), I've gotten the same impression about the Planet Ocean from feedback: That it's delicate, far less robust than the standard Seamaster line (I currently own the 2531.80, which, of course, is pre-Coaxial)."Planet" and "Ocean" were beginning to feel far bigger shoes than this watch was capable of filling.In my mind, a scratched crystal or bezel, or case or clasp, for that matter, does not make a watch less rugged. As I said, I've accepted the idea that the exposed surface A/R coating will be short-lived, relatively speaking. I also saw on John's review the implication that there are sources for completely removing that that seem relatively mainstream.As I said, my frame of reference is the Submariner Date model 16610 Rolex. And, by the way, the bezel is scratched, between the 35- and 40-minute markers. Posting Photos and Photos of Watches
Well I finally posted my first photos and thanks to those who posted tips. I found them helpful. I found that once a photo is in photobucket it is really easy to postall one has to do is start a post, go to photobucket, click on the picture and copy the the url (the last line in photobucket) and then paste in the post.Beyond having a good camera and tripodsomething I need or I need to start bypassing Starbucks is there an article here in the forum on how to take GOOD photos? The flash glare that washes out colors, or adds a color, seems to be my biggest problem in my pictures. Taking pictures of "lume" is also another trick I would like to learn as my attempt resembles a blurry UFO looking photo.Thanks.

Do B&P¡¯s really matter when buying your pre owned watches?
