- This watch is great. It is a perfect color and matches my other jewelry. Looks like an expensive watch.

- This is a very attractive, functional timepiece that is just as appriate with formal wear as swimwear. The gold accents make it complimentary to gold or silver jewelry.

Cartier W6900456 wrist watches news:
seiko bezel.JPGI'm trying to find a source for parts on my watch. I was given this watch in 1971, and wore it religiously all through the 70's and 80's until finally finally putting her back in the box for some much needed rest! Well, after all these years I'm trying to her her back in original condition, give or take. I've been trying to locate a new bezel insert and new crystal. I thought I had located the bezel insert through Dagaz Watch Limited, but after conversing with Jake yesterday, the two that he has in the original style that came with my watch won't work (without serious modification) so I was wondering if anyone here had some insight on where I can find the insert. I don't believe the crystal is going to be a big issue.Would appreciate some feedback, thanks.PP1 002.jpgTop left pick is the one Jake offers that fits a 6306 model, but won't fit mine.
I need a recommendation for repair on the west coast...thank you
I am trying to find a watch for my girl. She's a physician, and so has some particular requirements that would be easy to find in a men's watch, but are proving more difficult in a women's watch. It seems like every watch made for women assumes that they need it encrusted with diamonds and practically without useful features!I'm hoping some nice forum-goers here can point me in the right direction.Requirements:- I don't think quartz/automatic matter.- Preferably no diamonds/gemstones.- Very legible dial.- Must have an easily legible date.- The date should be a fast roll-over. She often needs to see the date at night, and can't have it confusingly halfway for an hour.- Must have a center sweep seconds hand.- Should have 60 second/minute markers on the chapter ring.- Ladies size, (not some hulking 44mm monster that I like :D ).- Some complications are okay, so long as they don't clutter. (She likes retrograde day-of-week, for ex.)- Chrono is not very useful, and likely too much clutte
I was looking on the non rolex forum on one of the topics about value retention which got me thinking. Can anyone tell me truthfully is there a new current Patek, or a model say that is up to 3 years old, that is under 200k and that in the pre-owned market i.e. someone privately selling it on, will not sustain at least 20% hit on the resale? So is there a current model that you can buy today and sell say one year later and not lose a penny?I would just be interested to hear. I ask because I never buy new, I never buy new cars, watches or new houses(ok maybe clothes!!) Reason being is that the first owner will always sustain a hit of at least the associated tax, be it VAT or whatever, the moment they walk out once they've paid their money. And as I do not have a must buy new character anymore, I prefer to buy pre-owned. I know this may sound like a stingy or mean streak in me, but I have learned the hard way in the past and therefore refuse to succumb again.
Hey there,I'm headed to Tokyo next week, and have read that there are good deals to be made for us Europeans on SS Sport models if you can find one.I'm looking for the BLNR or the 116710LN and have heard about grey sellers like Jack Road or AD's.Do all give a 5% discount for foreigners plus the 8% tax back?Where would be a good start to look?Thank you
