Cartier WE9009Z3 wrist watches news:
Rado is known for coupling sturdy, athletic timepieces with innovative materials and designs, and the brand¡¯s new models for Baselworld are no exception. This year at Baselworld Rado introduces several new additions to its HyperChrome collection.Rado¡¯s new HyperChrome watches make use of an unusual material. Plasma ceramic is extremely durable and resistant to scratching, as all ceramic watches are. But it also is treated to have a brilliant, metallic hue. This color will not fade over time. There are three new HyperChrome automatics coming to market this year. The Rado HyperChrome Automatic XL (above) is set to launch in the fall. It has a 42-mm case, built in a monobloc (one-piece) construction. The plasma ceramic gives it a glossy gunmetal color. It also has accents in rose gold PVD on the hands and indexes. The crown is made of stainless steel and is PVD coated as well. The Automatic XL has 3 center-mounted hands and a date window at 3 o¡¯clock. The price is $3,650.The heavy-hitter a
Hey guys !I just got back from the NAWCC New Orleans Regional yesterday evening.............sorry to say that the show was rather disappointing but it did have one high note.I was able to snag a GIANT SIZE 6s SHRAPNEL GUARD, 38mm ! ! ! ! ! ! !It has a rather robust design that gives the watch a superb stance on the wrist ! ! !I've been on the hunt for this guard for several years so I guess the trip down to New Orleans was well worth the expense even though the show was pretty thin. The GIANT Size 6s genuine "SNAP ON" guards are quite hard to come by ! ! !This one measures 42mm lug to lug and 38mm without the factory crown, 18mm lug diameter. The guard fits onto the Philadelphia "silverode" case like a glove, snaps into place VERY crisply just as it should ! !The shrapnel guard now rests on a 1917 size 6s Elgin Trench Watch with a BOLD Arabic military dial, re-lumed factory drilled hour marker dots & 1917 Elgin military hands.New mainspring, new glass, new genuine Buffalo strap, new

Hi all! First post here. I just started collecting watches last year and I'm planning on getting a vintage DJ as my first Rolex (1601, 16013 etc).Question is, I have no idea how to start looking, or how to discern between good and bad sellers, or what the reasonable prices are, among other things.Would you guys have any advice for a newbie like me?Thanks!Quick edit: if this is better off being posted in the Vintage discussion, let me know and I'll gladly post there!
