Watchmaking specializes in setting up Patek Philippe perpetual calendar modules. The Fine Watchmaking workshop assembles, finishes, cases up, and sets the strikes for automatic winding minute repeaters. The Restoration workshop repairs and restores complicated timepieces.The facility houses 25 watchmakers: 12 in the Watchmaking Workshop, five in Fine Watchmaking, and eight in Restoration. The location allows Patek to be close to the Vall¨¦e’s specialized schools and the skilled graduates they produce.

Hello all! Just curious about your personal opinions and preferences about the White Gold versus Yellow Gold version of the Day Date Presidential. Please, no Platinum plugging!I'm curious as to what you think about wearability, practicality, and just personal style.I know where I stand, and if I were smart enough to figure out how to post a poll on this thread, I certainly would. My personal choice would be for the White Gold version, all else equal. I like the understated elegance and low-profile of the WG version - only real Rolex people would know it is solid 18K gold. The YG just screams attention too much to me.Plus the WG version is more rare than the YG version, in my experience. That, to me, makes it more unique and coveted.So, if you had the choice, which would you choose, and why? Thanks!
