WatchTime and noted watch collector and expert Jeff Kingston have teamed up again for the 2014 edition of the popular ¡°Inside Basel.Geneva¡± series of collector events, kicking off September 5 in Chicago. Among the core sponsoring watch brands is indie brand Armin Strom, which will showcase its new Armin Strom Gravity Date Fire at the events.The Armin Strom Gravity Date Fire, with its 18k rose gold case, is the most luxurious of the quartet of Gravity Date watches ¡ª each named for one of the four elements ¡ª introduced at this year’s Baselworld watch fair. GMT II 16710-3186 back from warranty service at Rolex USA
I am soooo happy to have my GMT back and on my wrist! I sent it to RUSA in NYC for warranty regulation on June 11 (it had been running about -5 or -6 since I bought it April of 2008, but I waited to send it in for service until it got scratched up a bit).I'll be putting it on my Orbita Watch Tester tonight to see if they corrected the rate (I had instructed them to regulate it to the plus side of things). They did do some nice touch up on the case and bracelet - narry a scratch can be found. I'll be posting an article to the ROLEX REFERENCE PAGE detailing the experience, and comparing it to my service experience from sending in my Sea-Dweller back in 2005. This time around, it took longer to get my watch back - about a week longer. So I didn't have my Pepsi GMT for the 4th of July. Frustrating...but I'm very happy to have it back.

On monday, my new Omega PO black bezel/orange numbers arrives at my AD! CANNOT wait!!I waffled between this watch, a GMTIIC, some Tags, a Ulysse, a Montblanc Timewalker, and Cartier Roadster... but in the end, if you like it - you LIKE it! Finally pulled the trigger and will post pics when it gets here.PO club!
