PAM 0048 Is this real?
Hi!I'm new to this forum, but would like a bit of help in determining if this PAM0048 is a real or a fake. It seems as if this is the best place to find the experts barring going to the dealer with the seller. Can anyone help? Do I need to supply more pics? Many thanks!RogerPS. I have been shown a box, papers, etc which match the watch, but there was a paper with results of the movement, but could not tell if this movement was in the watch from outside. Do I need to open it to check?

New Arrival: Swiss Military Watch Titan GMT (a.k.a. Poor Man's Kobold SMG-1)
I just received this one from a private seller in the UK a couple of days ago. It is the Swiss Military Watch Titan GMT 300m Diver. I like to refer to it as the Poor Man's Kobold SMG-1 for obvious reasons.. The watch has a 44mm Titanium case that plays a bit larger due to the 31mm dial. It is super comfortable to wear due to the weight of the Ti. The PVD coating is well done and flawless. I was also pleasantly surprised to find the case back is PVD'd as well! So far my only nitpick is the rubber strap is about a mile long, but I've ordered a nice thick black leather strap with white contrast stitch for it. I'll post some more pics once the strap arrives. please share your top 3 most beautiful Patek watches ever made
On Ken's last post I replied that the 5970 is imo one of the most beautiful watches Patek ever made.So it made me curious , I wanted to know other people's TOP 3 listSo please think about it, more than once and to give you a hint ¡­ don't just name the 3 most complicated you know.The most beautiful is imo seldom the most complicated. I had the sky moon tourbillon a few hours in my hands and I appreciated the technical work of art but I will never say it was a beauty. Nor am I a fan of repeaters or tourbillons.From a purely esthetic view a simple repeater looks like simple Calatrava. And a Calatrava is a nice watch but imo not for the TOP 3 ever :-)And those super complications with multiple functions are imo most of the time too busy.As you see, my choice does not have vintage pieces. The reason is simple.For me they are way too small. Yes I like a 1518 and yes I like a 3970 but a 35 or 36 mm watch is just not for me. And yes I like some vintage chrono's like a 530 but once again

Evening All,Before setting out my two questions below, I just wanted to say how fabulous this forum is. I've been a fan of the brand for many years, and have yet to pull the trigger on my first. I'm in no way torn as to which one, as the clue is in the title. As seasoned Rolex owners, buyers, and sellers: (1) do you think it's possible as a newbie to buy a SS SD in blue or black for RRP right now, or even in the next three months?(2) do you think the SS SD will become more affordable--meaning RRP-- in the next 12 months, or do you think the watch will go the way of the SS Daytona and require joining a waiting list?I ask because I have called many AD's on the East Coast (I'm based in VA), and no-one seems to have any. I mean no-one. I note that there are quite a few on the grey market for $17.5-20k, which makes me wonder if there are any with the AD's. It stands to reason that if the GM sellers can get them, then there must be some around. Of course, it could be that the current
