- My watch arrived today and I was very disappointed. It is going right back. It is larger than it appeared on TV and the silver tone is too dull. Maybe for a larger wrist it would be more appriate.

- The plastic things on the strap broke after 2 months wear. Not very durable and if it gets wet then it takes ages to dry up again. That can be a real pain in winter for exampel.

Cartier 2384 wrist watches news:
Hello Everyone, I am new to this forum. I have been reading the various interesting threads and very much appreciate the knowledge, the friendly environment and the amazing pictures. I am not a very good photographer, and do not have a good camera, but I hope you find the photos interesting.I love watches and over the past few years have built a small collection that is composed of:1) A Z series SS Rolex GMT II-C. I bought it back in Oct 2007 to celebrate a promotion at work. I bought it new from the local AD. I wear it every day.2) A 1975 Universal Geneve Golden Shadow Quartz with a 74 Quartz movement. This watch belonged to my father. For some reason this watch was not working for the last 20+yrs. Last year I contacted UG and I was adviced to send it to a Swiss watch-maker master who lives in Houston. He brought it back to life.3) A 1974 Omega Constellation ref ST355.0815 automatic caliber 711 24 jewels. This watch also belonged to my father. I kept it in storage after he passed away
:):)I think I'll wear this one today, Tuesday..diver88:):)O.K. I'm 35 minutes early....
I'm doing my research now in anticipation of buying a Breitling (unless Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph wins me back). I've been eyeing the Breitling Avenger. However, I've come across a couple of variations for that line: Super Avenger, Avenger Skyland. What's the difference? Thanks!
For the lucky owners the PAM 317 K series with the PVD Movement, The L series batch of the watches will not come with the PVD coated movement but with a tinted case back.Answer from Mr BonatiWill future PAM317 models have a non-PVD movement but will have a black smoked display back instead? The PAM00317 millesimation "K" has the black PVD coating (P.2004/B movement). The millesimation "L" will adopt the smoked sapphire on the back and not yet the PVD coating on the movement I have to say I like the PVD movement. The watch will look a bit strange with a tinted back.watchtalkforums.info/foru...ack-black.html Contains photos of Rob's 317 with the PVD movement.
Hi guys,I played around with my speedy pro and tested its timekeeping precision based on resting position. For anyone looking to speed up or slow down your speedy, I figured this could be helpful. My testing methodology: The watch was fully wound and then timed against the Time.gov atomic clock at exactly 12:00 pm each day. The watch was then left to rest in the given position below, untouched, for exactly 24 hours until 12:00 pm the following day when I timed it against Time.gov again. This was done for three days in each position, with the watch being fully wound before each subsequent timing. It is important to note that the timing was exactly the same for all three positions on each of the three days (very accurate movement). Below are my results.Dial up: + 2 seconds Dian down: - 4.5 secondsCrown up: + 12 secondsCrown down: + 4 seconds Hopefully this is helpful for anyone trying to self regulate their speedy pro!!!
