- It is very beautiful and sporty at the same time. I love the size of the face, it is perfect. Looked at many many watches and glad I got this one! My kids love the clear back to see the mechanism too.

Blancpain 2185F-1130-71 wrist watches news:
Looks like a Lyndon but the lugs are different. The box says Sportmatic, but I suspect it may not be original as the wathc is not really sport nor is it an automatic.I have a very modest watch collectionI have a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso GMT, a Rolex Submariner, a LeCoultre Memovox, However this the only watch I really care about. The logo on the watch was from Inland Steel Corporation In Gary Indiana where my grandfather worked for 25 years, and this was given to him among a few other things. Thanks guys! Uncle Dave
Hamilton Electric Nautilus 601 - 1963 - 505 movmentNeed battery adapter a 500 or 501 adapter will work on a 505 - Found one on ebay or Bob's Batteries online claims to have them.
No I didn't steal it.....I had to buy it.......I sure like it........Excuse the photos,I only have a simple web cam....The Gasgasbones velcro that came with it,was something I hadn't heard of.Well,I think I'm going to enjoy that strap a lot. It's as near to perfecting a perfect fit as I've seen.Snug for the action, back off just a bit for comfort.I really like it.It stays put to. Not to mention, the adjusted 6 position movement is also pretty darn nice. It's running the same on it's back as it does dial down. Out of 6 Swiss autos, this is the only one that'll do that. I haven't attempted to regulate it. After 72 hrs at rest, winding once every 24,it's gained 10 sec. That's plenty good enough for me. I don't own a timing machine. If I get in there messing with it I'll probably never get it back this close again.
Does anyone know if silver Vacheron & Constantin pocket watches are great sellers? What about silver Ulysse Nardin pocket watches? I checked out eBay but there was only one or two up for auction at this time. Thanks for any help.-JB
I'd bought her watch maybe less than a year ago, mine arrived sometime last month. Great to have a partner who shares my love for watches! Her watch is a quartz, both me and the AD went blue in the face extolling the virtues of mechanical timekeeping; cut no ice whatsoever.Being older and maybe a little wiser, I staged a strategic retreat, the AD battled on; poor fellow still bears some scars from that debate!
