Ever have one of THOSE days!? Over the weekend a fairly well know watch auction took place, including a rather nice Coronado that had caught my eye about a week earlier. At about the same time, a watch friend of mine told me (and a few others who shall remain nameless unless they choose to acknowledge so) that he was looking to acquire a nice white Coronado for his personal collection. I told this friend of his luck with the impending auction, and he asked me to do him a favor and bid as he would not be in a location/situation that would easily allow him to do so. So Roger, I'm going to blame this one on you...with all the talk of Montoyas, Barrichellos and Schumachers! After all, I have to blame it on someone...right? I struggled with the old style AP deployment and tried both regular as well as short straps to no avail. The tang buckle fits perfectly and is very comfortable. Advice: Purchasing my first AP
So I have zero background in APs, as I have always been a Rolex / Panerai owner for a while. I have been looking very closely at a AP Survivor being sold at watchuwant - I just love the aesthetics of the watch in every way. My wife says it looks like a casio g shock and thats what I want, something that can be easily confused for a 99$ watch by some and recognized as a amazing watch by a few. I realize this is about post is extremely general and I hope you excuse me for my ignorance.
