Cartier WE601008 wrist watches news:
I spent the day hanging out with IWC in Schaffhausen working on a little video project that will be ready in about a month. But, while bumming around bugging everyone from the museum curator to Kurt Klaus himself, I came across what is just seriously a beautiful watch. I'm talking about the IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar In White Gold With A Blue Dial. 2 OF 4 Now if you know anything about IWC and its history with perpetual calendars, you know that Mr. Klaus designed the first QP back in 1985 that was fully operational by just the crown - that means no pushers at all. The movement inside this Portuguese is no different, and the day, month, moonphase, and year are all completely in sync, always. What is the general thoughts on a pre owned 2011 GMT without box and papers? Its from a reputable reseller. Looks like there is about $500 difference in price of identical watch with box and papers. Thanks Eddie

Last year I enlisted a little help from a fellow member & Omega collector to help me search for one of my grails. I was not having much luck finding a solid gold Seamaster from the late 50's or early 60's. The reason was I didn't want another of the normal 55x (no date) or 56x (date at 3) calibers you see so many of. Not that they're bad - on the contrary, they are some of the best Omega ever made - but I have a 561 gold capped pie pan from 1961 so I wanted something out of the ordinary. It's no secret I've owned more than a handful of Omegas from this period (hey Scott & Angel: how are they behaving?) so it's not like I didn't know what I was doing. I looked into vintage watch sellers as well and found a few that were decent, and one manual wind caliber 285 from 1961 that would have been on my wrist if not for the price....but more on that later. It turned out that I had 2 choices at the same time; one from Europe and one here in the US and both were 18K. I monitored th
Hey guysIm in the market for a new millenary 4101 RG, Ive seen these guys on chrono24 and...instagram. They are based in Geneva and seem to have amazing prices. However I can't find much information on them. I'm quite scared of fakes in the market. Has anyone here dealt with them and if so could you share your experience?thanks
