In another thread in the GDF there was a bit of disagreement over the definition of a GMT watch and a Dual Time watch.After years in the military, I know what GMT is, that's not the question here.Watchfan1 defined a GMT watch as one with a 24hr indicator that can be used to keep track of another time zone (and not just the time at Greenwich as some seem to think), and I would add to this by saying a Dual Time watch is simply a watch with another time displayed, often a two handed 'normal' clock on a sub dial.I imagine the term GMT watch would have been coined in the early days as pilots, military personnel etc would have had a good reason to track GMT as a common reference when communicating with units around the world (and still do).
