When Autodromo debuted earlier this year, they did so with an interesting and distinct line of watches that were exclusively quartz powered. Nine times out of ten, the average watch nerd would likely prefer a mechanically powered watch and this is just what Autodromo has announced with their newest model. The new Autodromo Monoposto is the brand's first mechanical model and it is a beautiful one at that.The Monoposto is built around a 43 x 10 mm stainless steel case with wire-style lugs and a distinctly vintage vibe (aside from the admittedly modern sizing). Exposed above the dial is a domed KL glass crystal which has a sapphire coating. "Monoposto" translates to "single seat" and the crystal on the Monoposto features a red strip that is meant to recall the days before race cars had rev limiters. Should I be concerened?
Hey,I have a VE Gaz14 watch, with a 2426 movement. It was my first automatic, at the time of purchase and I had no clue regarding the movement.It runs fine and all, but I've noticed that the rotor doesn't rotate as freely as the one on my invicta (or my friend's swatch).Should I be concerned? Like I mentioned, it runs fine but can this be fixed by a local watch maker? There are no VE dealers or service shops in India, so the only option left for me is to have it shipped to the online retailer, which is going to be expensive and time consuming.Any info, regarding this would be great.Thanks

I spent the last week going to ADs looking/begging for a hulk but no luck. Today I received a call from a jewelry store that had one just in from a customer for $10,660 ....My options:1- buy it for a premium. 2- wait for my AD to call in 2 weeks for $9,460. 3- wait for the new year maybe prices will go down?The problem is that I¡¯m on 3 lists already, and I don¡¯t know if I will receive one yet especially if I let this one go to another guy. What if I pay they premium ($1,300) only to receive a call a couple of days later Appreciate your input
