Cartier W1560002 wrist watches news:
Sorry it's taken so long for me to post this. But I want to get it right. First I would like to thank Pat Dunn (weldunn007) for co-hosting the GTG and everyone that made it a fun time. A few were here from Seattle and overseas also. And for some it was their first time at a GTG. So I hope you all enjoyed yourselves. I have quite a few pictures and 2 short videos. Lastly, I apologize if I forget to mention whose watch is who's. The restaurant where the GTG was is called McCormick and Schmick's. The food was excellent! I had the catfish. The party started at 1pm EST but Pat and I decided to arrive about an hour early to set things up. An AD in Rhode Island donated many catalogs, shirts, hats, polishing cloths and a Breitling pen. All of this weighed a ton so I helped Pat transport it to the dining area. The restaurant staff were already arranging the table for us and their service was excellent. A few minutes past 1pm the guests started to arrive and then the watches were unleashed! Fi
You guys do a great job!I guess like I, most just take it for granted that you are around. Unless of course you lock down a thread where we have started a little fire. Then you get all kinds of flack like, "your on the payroll".I lurk and post in several of the Watch Talk Forums and you guys do a bang up job. If it is a question for thought, the watch worn of the day, new info or keeping the peace, you take the time to make our "sandbox" a fun and clean place to be.So this is just a thanks to you all.And if you dare to lock down this thread, I pray that the fleas of a thousand camels don't infest your armpits, but go lower! Thanks for all your time and efforts.
All,I generally hang out in the vintage rolex section, but I have been asked to research a 3513.50 or 3570.50 by my sister in law as a birthday gift to her husband (my brother). I know nothing about Omega watches and I would like a brief history on these two models......provenance, vintage, production run, etc. According to my SIL, he seems to have searched more on the 3513.50 than the latter. Anything would be helpful, and any advice on searching for one would also be helpful. Pete
Do you think the yelloe gold version is too loud for daily wear...say in shorts and t shirts?Im beginning to really like the hobnail design though. The whitegold version seems a little bland imo.Opinions?
Hi. I love my Black Bays. I have the black on bracelet, the red on leather and the Bronze. I¡¯d like a Pelagos. I can get a really good discount on the black Pelagos.....or pay full price for the more subdued LHD (which in colour is similar to the Black Bay face) ....what would you do?!Thanks!Glenn
