Omega 231.28.30.20.55.001 wrist watches news:
I'm a watch admirer and I want to go into the second hand watch business, but I do not know where to start. I've started reading all that I can about watches to increase my knowledge base, but I don't know how to find watches that are suitable for re-sale or where to re-sale them. It should be noted that I want to do this as a hobby, a few watches a month, not as a way to earn a living. I'd appreciate any point in the right direction.
I was browsing through the sales forum earlier and noticed that discount watches had an nice Accutron Gemini two tone for sale and the movement looks like it's a SW200 based on the pic of the rotor. Are we starting to see a shift from ETA to Sellita from watch producers/manufacturers now that swatch group owns ETA?
I find myself oddly attracted to this odd little Swiss outfit. They don't seem that popular, you can pick up many of their watches for not a lot of Euro, but I like the style and apparent quality of many of their range. Two that appeal in particular are :The Steel Diplomatic:The Gold Aerodyn:I'm not worried about these becoming collectors items, I like them because they are individual and a little eccentric. Unfortunately I can't find out much apart from some limited stuff on the internet.I'd be grateful for feedback from the collective as to D&S as a watchmaker before I commit to either on the used market.
What do you guys think?I do intend to get it in stainless steel, however this was the only one available, and it is the same size.I initially was interested in the 15450 37mm, since I have pretty small wrists at around 6.25 wrists, maybe slightly smaller, but I just felt the 37mm was on the smaller side; I also love the blue dial so that was one more thing I couldn't get on the 15450.I personally think it pretty much wears like my 40mm Rolex GMT, which I am very comfortable with; I am just not sure if the Jumbo will sit well on my wrists when I remove the links.I am told that I can remove a max of 6 links. Should that be enough for my scrawny wrists?I appreciate your opinions, and any input. Thank you guys.
Both are Black Bay Heritage's from 2016, in Canada. The 1st one is Red bezel BNIB from a TD for CDN$3150 plus tax. The other is 1 year old blue bezel with box and paperwork receipts from a TD for $2500 tax included. It also comes with an additional extra 3rd strap. Supposedly cdn$500 option. What are the prices like in Canada? Are they fair deals? Sent from my SM-G925W8 using Tapatalk
