TAG Heuer CAW2111 wrist watches news:
While browsing the Crown & Buckle website not actually looking to buy anything, I was just doing the usual WIS thing and anything watch related is worth looking at. So I found their sales section and saw a few straps knocked down to $10, to be honest I figured $10 wouldn't buy much quality but I went ahead and ordered anyways. I spent the grand total of $37 which is inclusive of shipping to Ireland , not a lot but what did I actually get for it.Inside the little inner envelope was 2 x 24mm straps,1 springbar tool & 3 sets of replacements tips also 1 pair of 22 mm fat spring bars.Props to Crown & Buckle for the great service and excellent prices, I would have no hesitation in paying full price for any of their straps in the future
How are watch companies financed? This interesting question I was asked at a luncheon speech I gave on last Saturday to a small group of retail bankers here in Switzerland. The way to finance watch companies depends very much on the size of their operations.Operations like those of Swatch Group, Richemond or other larger group of companies are most commonly financed by a holding company. Depending on the group, funding is comprised of core capital only (shares issued and subscribed to in full by the holding) or of a mixture of core capital and debentures issued by the holding company. In such an event, it is the holding being held responsible for the debentures and not the single watch company. The smaller the companies become the more they depend on share capital underwritten by the founding shareholders and often supplemented by loans underwritten by the same group of people. Banks are usually more than reluctant to finance watch companies lest they are of a certain size.Recently, a thi
Let's see how many of you got a watch with Valjoux 7750 or 7751 movement. Post a picture or a two please. I don't have one yetOne day...
Hi all,After quite some thinking and after recieving a good deal of great comments and pointers from the rest of you WTF-people i have decided to get me an IW 3717-01I am thinking of buying this watch, and would really appreciate if some of you guys had a look at these images and gave me some feedback. I am interested in knowing that this is not a fake - and i am not an expert myself. I do not have the opportunity to take the watch to an AD to get this verified. Seller has also provided me images of the papers and guarantee-card. To me all of this look good, real and proper. Seller seems very trustworthy and honest.Any other opinions on the watch? Thanks a lot in advance!Link to pictures of the watch
I find myself just staring at it. First watch with a clear caseback. I would love a Royal oak skeleton Iphone5s
