Guys I need urgent help. How can I check authentication of AP watch in new York. They told me yesterday they can check the watch and check accuracy in 0.5 hour or so. Today I talked to other women and she confirmed that they should open the watch to check the movement and that would take 4 weeks as they will send it to florida. So is there anyway to do it in new York as I have no time and can't delay the seller noting that the seller is private collector and not dealer??

A recent love for Omega brought me deeper
I use to just focus on the Speedy Pro but recently my focus changed and I sold nearly all my Speedy, keeping only the standard Moonwatch.With the funds, I bought a SMP300 James Bond and later will be collecting from the shop a PO2500 42mm. I earlier bought the latest PO8500 but sold nearly immediately as I cannot take that thickness. The PO2500 sits better on my 6.5in wrist.Now that I still have some funds remaining (yes! ), I am contemplating a discontinued NOS SMP300. I think the ref is 2255, blue wave dial and steel bezel on speedy bracelet.However it seems the 2255 are not so popular (I stand corrected) and more love is towards her black bezel black wave 2254. I don't think my dealer has a NOS 2254 but the offer of that BNIB unworn 2255 is hard to pass.To the 2255 owners here, what are your thoughts of this watch? How often do you members think the Speedmaster needs to be repaired? Mine is about 9 years old and running 3 minutes slow a week. It is the yellow Schumacher version. Also, where is a good place to get it repaired in the Midwest? Milwaukee, Chicago area?

Ever Lose Interest Waiting For Service?
I sent my Nautilus 3710 Comet to PP/Stern for service in June. Haven't got it back yet (don't worry, this is considered normal).While waiting this past half year plus, I've kinda lost interest in getting it back. I honestly cannot imagine feeling all warm and fuzzy when I see it again. Actually thinking of posting it for sale as soon as it arrives home (whenever that occurs...)So has anyone else lost interest in their Patek while waiting the long-a$$ time it took to service it?
