Invicta 14986 wrist watches news:
So, it's Tuesday night and work was crazy today. What is everyone doing tonight? Myself, time for a little R&R. My better half is out with her gal pals, kids are in bed so I figure it's time for a bit of this:and a lot of this:Hope you guys are having a great night...cheers
I hope you guys can help me out here. I recently received a very old Seamaster from my mother who purchased it for my grandfather brand-new in the late 1940s. I have done a lot of looking around and have not found any information or pictures that match this particular watch. It has a cracked crystal and is definitely not in great shape and has not been touched in any way that I can tell. I did take it to a jeweler and he said that it appeared to be authentic. Unfortunately I don't know how to open it up (and probably shouldn't try) to take pictures of the inside. I am going to post a couple of pictures of it and I hope somebody can let me know something about the watch. Before I have any work done on it would be nice to know if it's authentic or not. Thank you all in advance.
I dont know a lot about pams but I do know my budget is small, so I suspect that brown or blue dial and titanium cases are out of my price range. I do like the black dials tho and can live with a stainless case. I also want just the basics, ie crown lever, and minute and hour hand only So, can anybody suggest what my least expensive option is to satisfy my needs?Noob.
Pictures speak a thousand words, so here's 4,000 worth:Couldn't resist a chronometer rated Longines, especially one of the Ultra-Chron series with a caliber I didn't own yet. I wish the caseback logo was crisper, but that's a small inconvenience when compared against the uncommonness of this watch.
Let me begin by saying wow what a great reference. Yes I am biased when it comes to Patek's but I think they got it right with this one. Not a Ref. 5004 and i'll give you that, but not everyone is also comfortable with the size on a 5004.Well, incase you want one. What should you pay. The white dial is discontinued and not many have exchanged hands as far as my knowledge goes. Also there are two variations, the first 10 to 15 watches delivered had a white/beige dial. almost the color found on the 5004J. those watches obviously went to VIP's and to get your hands on one would super special. Later the dial was changed to white and production was tight. The black dial however, I personally have been offered one for 240, another for 245 and another for 250 and just yesterday 270 was my offer. All different watches, all sealed, all my name on papers. I think it's safe to say if you can't get your hands on a Ref. 5370P (and many willing buyers won't) a 5204P is an insane options and it's a pe
