Invicta 10364 wrist watches news:
I've been close with Swiss watch designer Yvan Arpa for years, and I understand his particular blend of humor and unorthodox style. So with that said, his recent "announcement" about how he personally plans to benefit from the inevitable success of the Apple Watch (hands-on here) and other smartwatch devices, does not come as a particular surprise. Yvan Arpa cleverly sees a market in luxury smartwatch modification. See, for example, his mockups of a re-cased Apple Watch, in a novel solid gold case with loads of baguette-cut diamonds.Stuff like this is rather easy to make fun of, but you know it is going to happen. Yvan Arpa is just being entrepreneurial about an expectant surge in smartwatch popularity, and what could possibly be Apple Watch dominance of the segment for at least a good while. Further, he is sending a message to his high-end clients that, "don't worry, we can still do business together, even if you'll want to wear an Apple Watch." If customers used to wearing lavish mec
Back in May, Timeless Luxury Watches of Texas announced a limited edition Nomos Club Datum in blue. Restricted to a minute 100 pieces, they sold out fast and for good reason; they were ridiculously gorgeous. With inky blue dials off set with a cherry red seconds hand, they were an exciting riff on an already fantastic watch. Now, I'm a bit biased as I own a Club (not this one, but the cream dial 36mm non-date version), but having had a couple of weeks to spend with the Timeless Club I can easily say it's a winner, and a great example of how to use color on a dial.? We reviewed the manual wound Nomos Club before, which you can read here, and since many of the details are the same this is going to be more of a hands-on with a lot of photos.CaseThe case design is essentially the same as that of the Club manual, but it comes in a bit larger at 38.5 x 48.75 x 8.45mm. In a very uncommon move, all 4 of the different Club models have different case sizes, starting at 36mm and ending at a surpr
In 1933 the American aviator Charles Lindbergh set off with his wife on a trip of 47,000 km around the North Atlantic. Having achieved a remarkable technical and human feat in being the first man to fly non-stop across the North Atlantic in his Spirit of St. Louis, Lindbergh wanted to explore possible future air routes across the far north before returning to the USA via Cape Verde and Brazil. The equipment Lindbergh took with him on his long expedition included a wrist chronograph created specially by Longines for this very purpose. Today Longines is re-issuing this exceptional timepiece, known as the Longines Lindbergh¡¯s Atlantic Voyage Watch, as a tribute to the historical feat achieved by this pioneer of the skies. The time-piece Longines created for him had a wristwatch chronograph movement with a 30-minute counter. It measured time to the fifth of a second and the chronograph mechanism also had a tachymeter that could measure speeds of up to 500 kph. With the flying conditions tha
elloo, I'm a watch enthusiast and I'm developing a website to publish the current price-list of IWC, Rolex, Panerai and Jaeger so that it may help others. Can someone share the current IWC price-list with me? Many thanks in advance.
Been thinking of upgrading my 15400 to a 15202, and finally put it on the chopping block. But yesterday I started thinking that a 5196G would be a great alternative to the 15202, I know, they are different watches for different purposes, but still.I have been consolidating lately and have only a few watches (you can see in my signature what I have), I am missing a dress watch as you can see.So, I have time to decide while the 15400 sells, but I have always found the hunt to be a big part of the fun.Any comments and especially pics would be greatly appreciated.
