Check this out, requested a COSC certificate for my recently SMP GMT 2535.80 and this is the response I got from OmegaI am going to probe further. Here's one I'd love to see brought back in a modern stainless version:Here's an original, with no engraving on the cover:Unengraved covers are very hard to find today, these were heavily promoted as being ideal for monograms:Actually all Flintridges are rare today. They were sold in 1930/1931, and as you can see they were very expensive for the Depression era. Only 562 were ultimately made in 14K yellow gold, and 447 in white gold.

WG or YG Sky D or YG YM2?Slowly Ive come to the realization that I like durable watches. While the Jumbo is a classic I just don't wear it enough. I figure I will keep one AP (44mm RG ROO) and one PP (Nautilus Chrono) in the collection and flip two APs for another Rolex.My signature has details of what is in my current collection. Any opinions appreciated...

Got a New 722
Just got a 722 with bracelet. Thought i¡¯d post some pics since I haven¡¯t seen a lot of info about this model. 42mm and bracelet, very ¡°notPanerai¡±. Recently sold 2 Rolexes and a Jaeger so I was looking to maybe purchase 2 new watches. 1 more expensive and 1 for whatever was left. I have had the 320 GMT before and was kind of thinking about Panerai again although it was a tad too big for my wrist. Was looking at the 682 but as it turned out I bought another watch on a rubber strap first so I needed something else. Went to the shop and tried on everything, found the 722 that just got delivered to the store and I am so pleased. 42mm, new bracelet which is very nice and it¡¯s a Panerai. First pic is of the 2 watches bought on Friday, 1 Panerai and 1 weird thing on a rubber strap:)Needless to say...Friday was a good day!
