Breitling A1334102-BA85-SS wrist watches news:
On Wednesday evening December 8, Antiquorum will offer 365 modern and vintage timepieces at its Manhattan headquarters, including a historically significant Rolex GMT-Master that belonged to Lt. Don Walsh who, along with Jacques Piccard, piloted the bathyscaphe Trieste to the deepest point in the world’s oceans. This important Rolex GMT-Master, ref. 6542, belonged to U.S. Navy Lieutenant Don Walsh, the Officer-in-Charge of the Navy’s Bathyscaph Trieste. Lieutenant Walsh and Jacques Piccard piloted the Bathyscaph Trieste to the deepest place in the world’s oceans: the Challenger Deep in the Marianas Trench, 200 miles southwest of Guam. The Trieste descended to a depth of 35,800 feet. Subsequent to the dive, in April 1960, Rolex gifted Lieutenant Walsh a Rolex GMT- Master. Also in recognition of his achievement, Lieutenant Walsh was awarded the Legion of Merit, the Navy’s second highest non-combat medal, by President Eisenhower at a ceremony held at The White Hous
By putting out exceptional timepieces and providing some of the best customer service in the business, Stowa, under the helm of J?rg Schauer, has built up an unshakeable reputation within the WIS community. Schauer, who acquired the struggling company from the founding Storz family in 1996, recognized the inherent beauty of the brand's heritage. As such, he envisioned Stowa's current lineup by looking to the past, bringing back into production modern versions of Stowa's historical timepieces. Among the watches to return was the Flieger series. In 1939, Stowa launched production of their flieger (pilot) watches for the German Luftwaffe (air force). They were one of five companies to do so, the other four being IWC, Wempe, Laco, and Lange & S?hne. Despite its connection to one of history's darkest periods, the flieger remains an important marker in horology, and the design has endured countless iterations to become one of the most recognizable and homaged styles of all time. After several years of faithful service on the WTF Admin Team, Terry "diver88" has elected to step down and return to active civilian membership here on WTF. Terry's been with WTF several years, and has helped in several of our forums, including of course the Omega Forum. His assistance and of course his friendship have been and continue to be greatly appreciated! An existing Admin Team member, Stephanie "diamondgirl" has agreed to pull double duty, and will be assisting Dennis here in the Omega Forum while continuing to moderate the Panerai Forum. It's a particularly good fit, as she's recently been named the "Omega Ambassador" for her store (Avant Gold - a WTF forum sponsor) and will be getting some specialized training in Omega's product line. Give diamondgirl a great big WTF Omega Forum welcome!!!

Hey guys,I purchased my first AP from a vendor on the forums about 2 monthgs ago. It was brand new. I recently noticed that it keeps dying / stopping on me. For example, Saturday 10:10am, watch stops working after its been worn for the last 3 days. I ended up giving it a little shake and it started to work again. This has happened a few times in the span of 2 weeks. I was recommended to give it a wind by the local AP AD, 30-40 winds. I have done that twice now, but the watch does not keep power.Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance!
