Invicta 7212 wrist watches news:
Ladies and Gents,The time has come to service my IWC Mark XV. It's about 5 years old and after having a very good recommendation for someone to perform this service, I have come to learn that IWC does not offer their parts to watch makers to perform what it would take to acheive a proper service. So now I'm curious to know if anyone out there has gone through the steps of having their IWC go through a basic maintenance service with IWC and would also like to know roundabout cost and time frame it takes to get this done...Addresses, tel. no.'s, contact names and any info that you may have available in addition to what is just posted on their website would be appreciated. Here's a pic of the watch - it was my first 'nice' watch...Thanks, gb
My friend, who died in 1979 at age 86, had a Hamilton Milton 982 watch. He wore it all the time-including while he was gardening. He passed away while wearing it.His neice gave the watch, case, and box to me soon after he died. All are in excellent condition. I have the guarantee as well as the "packed by.." paper. Was wondering about what year would he have purchased it? How much (although not interested in selling) is it worth?Serial # of watch: J-545951Serial # of case: J177598Thanks for your help and interest.Donald Shelton
like to own someday, but probably won't as it's just way out of your realistic price range or just too much for you to justify spending. Maybe in my case I'll make enough money someday to afford one of these :crossfingers:
Everyone knows that I look at watches as jewelry. I am interested in design and especially 'signature' watches whose design is recognizable. This is what my interest and 'collection' is about. I cannot see spending money on watches that have no 'signature.' The other problem with watches is that they are fairly boring as jewelry. It is sort of odd that a $30,000 watch does not look much different from a $30 watch at ten feet. This isn't right. I really don't understand something like a Patek. I can appreciate the materials used, but it is odd that something so plain can be so expensive. I am not impressed with that. It doesn't interest me at all. You could have a Bentley for the same money. It is silly. Now, there are ways to get around the typical boredom of watchery. One is size and the other is gems. Good materials and detail is good at short range. Size can be an eye-catcher and reflect dollars paid. But here is another possible future use of watchery: STEAM PUNK!Yes,
Went to my AD and they didn¡¯t have one in stock, can you please post some pictures and wrist shots. This combination looks amazing from what I can tell. How does it go with dress wear blue and back suits? How about casual? This could be the holy grail watch for me, I love the bezel and the neutral-ness of it. Stunner!! Thank you soo much for sharing pics!
