Philip Stein 31-AGRW-RBB wrist watches news:
The New York Times is reporting that Stanley Simon, who was instrumental in bringing the Bulova Watchmaking School into being, has passed away in Manhattan. He was 93. The School, founded in 1945, became a model for industry-lead rehabilitation of disabled veterans. First conceived as World War II drew to an end, the school trained thousands of veterans in the watchmaker’s art. The school was founded by company president Arde Bulova, who wanted to repay the service of returning veterans. He named it for his father Joseph, who founded the Bulova Watch Company in New York in 1875.As Bulova’s industrial relations director, Stanley Simon played a central role in the school’s development. He oversaw construction of the school’s building, where ramps, automatic doors, and extra-wide elevators accommodated wheelchairs. An inscription on the school’s cornerstone reads simply “To serve those who served us.” Less than a year after the school opened, jewe
I like the new ad...Do you too? What's not to like?
Today I stopped by to order an AP RO 15300 at my AD.He showed me a letter from AP indicating a price increase as of January 1stthe price is going up by $1,000 USD on this particular model. It also talked about a revised dealer margin scheme, of course I couldn't read that part...So, buyers beware, if you're in the market for one grab it now!
Hey everyone,I'm really wanting to purchase my first Patek and am having a hard time deciding if I should go with the 5711 (preferably white) or the 5167. So I thought that maybe if all of you posted some pictures of yours it could help me make my decision. Also any advise you guys have would be great. One question I do have: does the 5167 hold its value as well as the 5711? Thanks!
Hi all, I'm a new member here and still somewhat of a noob when it comes to the various models. I'm considering adding to my small collection and wanted to hear what y'all thought. Currently own (and attached):1967 #1675 Pepsi GMT2008 #116710LN GMT II2018 #116610LV Sub Hulk (just got it a week ago!!!)Considerations:#116400GV z-blue Milgauss- very unique and different. I work in the medical field and would be cool to have an engineering watch.#126334 Blue/fluted DJ 41- perhaps traditional/boring, but a more dressy watch to add to the sports collection. #116610LN Black Sub/Date- I'm not really into it because I have a black GMT II and the hulk, but would be interesting to fill out the submariner collection. Overall, I'm leaning to a Milgauss, but wondered what you guys thought!
