- I'm gifting this watch to my mother for Christmas. She's a stylish English teacher, and she'll love it. It's a bit heavy, but it's definitely going to be a conversation starter.

- Loved the sleek elegant look of the watch. The picture on the site does not do the watch justice. Fits great and can be dressed up or down.

IWC IW500401 wrist watches news:
It's strange how sponsorship pairings just click sometimes. Intentional or no, every once in a while, a team and their sponsor will resemble each other beyond the superficialities of brand partnership, and the resulting synergy can produce some truly great successes. A great example of this in the watchmaking world is the 11-year partnership between Oris and Williams Grand Prix Engineering. Both companies, while not necessarily the flashiest or most well-known in their respective sectors, have a reputation for quietly producing some of the most capable, technically advanced machinery in their fields. The reasons for this between the two varies, however. In the case of Oris, while the company produces cutting-edge and innovative mechanical pieces such as the Big Crown ProPilot Altimeter, the first-ever wristwatch with a mechanical altimeter (find out more on that in Mark McArthur Christie's excellent write- up here), the brand has simply never captured the greater public's interest in th
While not perfect, the results from using the optical zoom in the Camera+ app on my iPhone 4S seem more consistent and clearer than the macro lens shots with my Olympus SP-565u. I found the best photos came with the 2 to 2.5x settings. On some of the photos, I used the in app effects, either "Clarity", "Overlay", "Depth of Field", "Sephia", or "Backlit". Obviously doesn't match the expertise on the forum, but not bad for an easy way to photograph your watch.
Hey all,After exhaustively searching the Internet for months I have arrived at, what is in my opinion, my perfect daily watch (I'll be 25 soon, so I think it's a great gift for myself). It has:1. Titanium casing/bracelet2. Automatic self-winding movementApparently it's very hard to have these 2 features combined. Sometimes I find a titanium watch, but it's not automatic, and more often I find plenty of automatics, but they always come in stainless steel (which I hate, since I don't like heavy watches). My question is simple: does anybody know of any similar watches that I may have overlooked? Any suggestions are most welcome.
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,I'm getting myself a little something for Christmas (I assured my wife her present was really nice ), but have a dilemma. I thought: What better place to ask than a forum full of watch lovers? Anyway, I would like to buy ONE (I wish all!) of the following watches, and I would appreciate your picks and any experience you might have with them. Drumroll(Not sure if the1. Ball Firefighter2. Muhle Glashutte M-123. Baume and Mercier CapelandInput appreciated!JP
Hi, I'm pretty new here. Is there a list of trusted gray market dealers on the site? Thanks.
