I've been reading many of the previous posts on this site as I did some research on buying a watch. There are a lot of well informed folks who post and some of these helped me take the plunge. New Arrival: Speedmaster Racing Co-Axial
I've been a bit of a goldilocks with Speedmasters in the past. The Reduced was a little too small, the Professional a little too large. I finally found one that is just right.

Would anyone here wear this?
Can't make my mind up...It's a keybolt compressor style quartz Seamaster, apparently, I have been informed from another watch forum. It's the only vintage watch I have (well, it's my dad's), and it has an Omega 1342 which is a pre Swatch Group calibre. it's in for a service at the moment but I think my dad may be planning to sell it; he wants a Rolex and I think this watch is in the firing line. Should I try to stop him? It's his to sell of course, but I may be able to sway him if I can convince him (and myself) that it is cool enough. To me it's a lovely dresswatch (I don't own a dresswatch) and a piece of Omega history but I'm also happy for him if he gets that Submariner he wants. What to do...

SD43 in Switzerland
Good afternoon.I am unsure where to post this, so I shall post it here and apologise in advance if it¡¯s either in the wrong section or deemed inappropriate.One of my best friends (UK guy currently based in Switzerland) has just taken delivery of a SD43 and isn¡¯t all that impressed with it (he is obviously a Philistine).He is subsequently looking to sell it; I can vouch for him and will happily act as a conduit for anyone wishing to make contact with him.I have obviously told him to join TRF too.Colin.

Sub 14060 vs 14060M
OK I have decided to replace my black bay. I can't decide between a 14060 or a 14060M with 2 line text. The M seem to be about 1k dearer. Any thoughts on if it's worth the extra money for the modified movement? I guess 1k isn't a big deal if it's guna be more collectable or hold value better. But on the other hand 1700 out of pocket after the Tudor sells vs 2700, kinda hard to swallow. Also, there are a couple places selling serviced watches for a premium vs say 600 less for a watch due for servicing(or unknown last service). Do you think it's better to get an unserviced watch and have it done myself or get one turn key. Financially kind of a wash but servicing wouldn't be done by my choice of locations. This will be my first Rolex purchase. A no date sub is kinda my attainable grail watch.Any other advice on this purchase appreciated. Turtle!!!!20170411_111309 by Norcalkid, on Flickr
