Does Rolex make one. And if they do, does anyone here on this Forum know where I can get one?ThanksRob
The actual GTG will be today in the afternoon, but some folks came to townearly so we decided to go out and party a little. We started at our house and then continued to Clearwater beach where wemet some other WIS. No everyone is pictured but 10 folks showed up to enjoya nice casual dinner at the beach, cigar bar and then later the 3rd establishment later.More pictures from the event will come up later and some lucky winners will go homewith these nice free gifts from our sponsors: BALL watch and Orbita WinderIt is a little to late to register via the link in my signature, but if you decide to show up at the last minute you can always call WatchFan1: 727-365-2266.
Is there any difference pros/cons wise between buying at an AD that sells a wide variety of watch brands, and buying at a boutique that exclusively sells Rolex and Tudor? Advice is greatly appreciated
Tell me what you think of this idea. As a generalization, it seems like Rolex produces less SS sport (e.g. daytona, sub, GMT, skydweller, etc.) than are in demand and more PM sport subs and GMTs than are in demand. I'm an engineer and we talk a lot about push vs pull systems. Why doesn't Rolex take specific models and only produce what is ordered and paid for in advance? No more, no less. It seems like this would dry up the gray market because why would I pay Joe Shmoe more than retail for a ceramic daytona when I can just order one from Rolex, even if I still had to wait 6 months? They could still keep boutiques with DJ, DD, and a few others. Rolex's team has to be way smarter than me, doesn't this make sense?
