Omega Omega 28113 wrist watches news:
Hublot has announced the appointment of Beatrice de Quervain Blanchard as U.S. President. De Quervain Blanchard will join Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver and Managing Director Ricardo Guadalupe to oversee the U.S. expansion strategy. At Hublot, de Quervain Blanchard will focus on gaining market share through a diverse marketing program that will include the opening of new boutique stores, a strong wholesale network and newsworthy communications initiatives. Born in Switzerland, de Quervain Blanchard studied economics at the University of Zurich and attended Sup de Luxe in Paris to gain additional luxury goods experience. In 1993 she started her career in the Swiss watch industry by working with Jean-Claude Biver at Omega, where she worked her way through the various stages of Product and Marketing to oversee the U.S. Marketing Division. In 1999 she joined Chopard as its first Marketing Director and was instrumental in gaining brand awareness in the brand¡¯s watch and jewelry divisions. In
Hublot and Alinghi announced yesterday that Hublot has committed to support Alinghi’s campaign in the 33rd America¡¯s Cup. Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver (photo right) joined Alinghi team president Ernesto Bertarelli at Alinghi’s training base in Genoa, Italy for the announcement. Alinghi will defend against the challenger, Larry Ellison’s BMW Oracle yacht, in the waters off Ras al-Khaimah, UAE, beginning on February 8, 2010. Hublot has always had close links with the world of yachting – through its name, which means ‘porthole’ in French, through its partnerships with prestigious sailing clubs such as Yacht Club Monaco and Real Club Nautico de Palma, and through sponsorship deals with numerous races and yachts. Jean-Claude Biver is thrilled with the new partnership: “We had the chance to admire the yacht as it left the yard, and when it first took to the water on Lake Geneva. It is a magnificent boat and it represents the essence of Swiss expertis
I am not a gambler but gaming can be fun. So fun that a lot of high-end watch brands have devised casino-themed timepieces that either suggest or directly emulate gaming. A popular example was the Girard-Perregaux Jackpot Tourbillon of several years ago. It had a tourbillon, actual slot machine, and cost over $600,000. More recently, Christophe Claret offered his extremely complicated 21 Blackjack watch with a roulette, dice, and blackjack game all in one timepiece. There have been watches that focus on everything from poker to simply being in a casino. This Bell & Ross BR01-92? Casino is all about roulette. The world first saw this timepiece back in 2011 when Bell & Ross created a piece unique Casino watch for the Only Watch auction. That version was in mostly gold, but a consumer version was released with the more standard red, green, and black colors of a traditional roulette wheel. Unlike some other pieces that whimsically allow you to play a game with your watch, the Bell &
I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish a happy first birthday to THE OFFICAL HAMILTON FORUM.The forum began on January 1, 2008 and with the help of many, members got a chance to fall in love with a new brand in the WTF family.Of special note, the contributions of mgiraz, eddiea, tbarry, two21b, MacDaddy, charlie, and mid-season replacements (aka the vintage guys) Tom Diss and Will Roseman. There were others who jumped aboard and I apologize if I do not mention you by name.Needless to say, as we were feeling our way for a couple of weeks, an angel from northern California came to our rescue with definitive answers to questions posed to us. I am referring to hamiltonelectric, Rene Rondeau, whose involvement here really put us on the map. When you can get the guy who wrote the book, actually two books, on Hamilton watches, you know you are blessed. My partner and friend, foghorn and I enjoyed our time here and wish the OHF good fortune for 2009 and beyond.Happy birthday, baby.:D
Hey all,I'm new here so hey all, thanks to the forum for allowing me post here. Well, I've been looking for the Hulk and I havent been able to find one for a while - I'm located in SA Texas. It's been a while already so I have to ask, is this watch being discontinued? will they stop producing it? The reason I ask is becase the retail price is 9,050 dollars and I see it on the gray market for a lot more which makes me wonder, why? so I thought maybe it was discontinued. Thanks a lot!
