Hublot Big Bang Aero Johnnie Walker Whisky Limited Edition Watch
Whisky is a big deal in China these days, and apparently the most popular spirit brand in the world is Johnnie Walker. So, with that said, it should come as little surprise that Hublot has created a limited edition set of Big Bang Aero watches in partnership with Johnnie Walker brand whiskies. More specifically, Hublot has produced this timepiece in collaboration with the new "Johnnie Walker House" in Beijing, China. What is a Johnnie Walker House? Perrelet Turbine XL America Limited Edition Watch
Apparently the 4th of July comes a bit late this year as Perrelet has just released a very American watch that celebrates our stars and stripes. See, if the Swiss can love America I am sure there is hope for our economy. Just send some of those excess Francs you guys keep whining about."Boohoo! Our money is sooo valuable!" They truly are an oppressed people.This cool new watch makes me happy to look at and is a special rendition of the newer Turbine XL watch. Perrelet also released two special edition (also limited) Turbine (non XL) watches that I will discuss in another post. What is exactly is up with the comically buff Uncle Sam? Why is he so pissed off? And who does our patriarch of patriots wish to punch? Louis Moinet watches have recently switched distributors here in the US. The former US distributor is selling off much of his personal Louis Moinet watch collection on eBay. There are some great finds and these watches won't last long. Jazzmaster decisions
I have been to two of my AD's in the last week and now I'm in trouble. I saw a Jazzmaster Gent #H32411555 and really liked it.The only thing is the Gent is a quartz (which is not a bad thing), and I would prefer an automatic. The AD was having a 40% off sale, so I could pick this one up for about $250.Then I saw the Jazzmaster Viewmatic #H32455555 which is basically the same watch (dial and strap color) but is an automatic. He would only give me 25% off so it would run around $470. I would probably go online and then I could get it for something closer to $430. I don't know what to do! Not that I need a watch right now, but I'm sure you are all familiar with the disease.
