- My husband has worn a Tag Heuer ever since I've known him, but wanted a leather band watch for Christmas this year. I chose this one after shopping around quite a bit and he really loves it!

- A very sturdy, eyecatching watch. Functions very well and looks even better than in the pictures. This is a great watch for someone who doesn't like to stay within the lines.

Oris 01 774 7655 4154 07 8 26 01PEB wrist watches news:
Hi:I am new here, interested in the above model or the day date. Can anyone who owns one of these watches answer a few questions I have. How accurate are these watches? How do they compare to a movement that has been COSC?Thanks
I am visiting my mother in Connecticut and she has this Elgin that was my grandfathers. It appears to be original (although the crown might be a replacement), has a heavy radium burn and it runs. The case is a snap back, but I don't want to open it as I don't have my tools with me. Most of my collection is vintage, however I don't know much about Elgins. Any info on this piece would be appreciated.
As I mentioned in another thread my Khaki Field Automatic Chronograph arrived today. The color of the dial is amazing. I am so glad I got the brown instead of the black. This is also my first and only NATO style strap so I think I am going to leave it on the watch for a while. I noticed that the instruction manual was fairly thick. I thought this meant it was fully comprehensive. I soon found out that it was only six pages repeated in a couple dozen languages. Even still, I now know what a telemeter measures. If the storms in the northeast get any worse I might try it out. The Hammie goodness did not end with the watch today. Now that I got the bug, I went on to Abebooks and located a copy of Rene Rondeaus out-of-print Hamilton Collectors Guide (not the Electric Watch book). After I got home I received a phone call from the book dealer, all the way from Juneau, Alaska, letting me know that the book shipped out today. Could today get any Hammier?
Hello all. First, let me say I've been reading a lot of the posts on this forum and you are a great group of people with some amazing watches.I am new to IWC. I have been a huge Blancpain fan for many years but I recently discovered IWC. I just got my first, an Aquatimer on a steel bracelet. I also ordered the black band (nylon or Kevlar?) and I will switch in a couple months. I really, really wanted the new Ingenieur Vintage, but at twice the cost of the Aquatimer, I just couldn't pull the trigger (of course, I'm regretting that a bit now!)Anyway, my Aquatimer is awesome, but it chirps. Whenever I twist my wrist to move the watch a bit, it makes a chirping sound. I'm pretty sure it's not the movement, but the bracelet. Just an observation I was worried a bit at first but now it's not a big deal. I'm looking forward to this forum and my next IWC.BrianIWC.jpg
I've been looking for a nice vintage 300m Omega diver. I noticed ebay and some other sales sites are filled with what they call New old stock vintage Omega watches.I've seen the 300m , 200m, Ploprof, and others in new condition. Are these in fact produced by Omega ? Are these franken rebuilds ?Thanks.
