Breitling B13019 wrist watches news:
When it comes to using bits of historical aviation equipment in the physical construction of a watch, it would seem Bremont has some competition, and from Germany no less. We have showed you watches from Bavaria Crono in the past and today's watch features a handmade dial which uses original metal from the last known Fock-Wulf FW 200 Condor. The Condor was a very advanced (for its time) commercial airplane and is known for being the first airplane to travel from Berlin to New York without stopping. The Bavarian Crono Aviator¡äs Focke-Wulf FW 200 is a 46mm stainless steel watch powered by a lightly-decorated ETA 6498 hand wound movement. Along with sporting original metal from an actual FW 200 Condor, the FW 200 watch features a hand design which is similar to that seen in the gauges of the original plane and the hands, minute and chapter markings have been fully lumed for low-light legibility. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal while the display case back employs a mineral cryst
I bought my SMP 300M Chrono less than a year ago from Omega Boutique in Beverly Hills. My bezel ring (the thin piece that has numbers written) fell off the watch (what a craftmanship!) Do you think Omega will fix this under warranty? I lost the ring...If I need to pay for the fix, what do you think it will cost? Thanks in advance.
Hi, I'm just starting a collection of pre-war II Hamiltons (mechanical). Where do you find a photo of each model, movement type, year produced, etc? I know there was a Hamilton history published some time ago by Rene Rondeau that is now out of print and difficult to find. but is there an equally good place to find that information? Thanks, Chuck
Just picked up my Seamaster 300 from AD and he told me that in Canada Omega prices are increasing March 3 and the Seamaster 300 is going from 6600 to 7050.Bernie
HiI recently ventured out to a Planet Ocean Chronograph with the 3313B movement. As a routine check before purchase my watchmaker opened the case back to ensure everything was working fine. The problem is the anti-magnetic cover that is installed in the 2008 version is not available in this version which I dated to 2006.I am unable to nail it down whether it was designed without the cover or whether it was left out the last time it was opened? Can anyone shed some light on this matter?
