Jaeger LeCoultre Q6042522 wrist watches news:
I am currently starting to shop around for one of these beautiful pieces and was wondering what kind of discounts people have seen across the board and any other general info that would be handy to be armed with when going in to an AD and trying to purchase? Thanks all
Guys, i've been thinking about this for a little while now and it stems from my own personal wear and comments i've heard on the various forums. What, in your opinion is the "COOLEST" Rolex out there?Out of all the Rolexes I have owned my Sub LV often gets called "the coolest Rolex" or "Hey, that's a cool watch", bearing in mind that I also own the GMT IIc and the Yacht-Master Platty, these tend to fall under the "SMOKIN'" appreciation when people make their comments. What would you guys say in your opinion is the "Coolest" Rolex?Best to allJ
Well I just got home from the Breitling party. The new pres. of Breitling, Phillipe, was there and they had about 150 timepieces including all of the 2008 models that have not gotten into full circulation yet. The dinner was very nice with only about 25 guests invited. They had all the watches out on tables so you could just walk around and try on anyone you like, such as a 200k Flying B. I had my eye on the chronomatic 49mm. It was not that impressive to me online but in person it is a very nice watch!!! Sorry about the horrible pics guys, my camera phone was all I had
I just sent my longines to Switzerland . The suggested "humble" price for the full service ( lubrication , cleaning of dial and case. Changing of hands ,movement parts and glass ) >1000 EU and a suggested waiting time up to 25 business weeks . But afer more then 50 years the watch wasn't serviced i said o.k. and now i wait. My question : does Longines sends back the old details ? I asked them to send me the old hands (to be able to change back after the warranty expiration, in case i'll not like the new ones ).Thanks,Leon
I apologize for not acknowledging Pearl Harbor Day in yesterday's daily thread. I know it's a significant date in American History yet certain dates escape me in the 7:00 AM time frame. I did end up watching several hours of Pearl Harbor related movies on TCM though. Today, it's the Gary for me.
