Watch moods - which mood are you in these days?
Now you might be tempted to interpret my thinking of "moods" as "Which watch do I feel like wearing today?"And while that's often a scenario that plays out with forum members, I'm sure, I'm taking a different view.I've noticed lately some changes in my buying habits. Styles of watches I thought would always be my go-to styles are waning in desire for me. I'm discovering not only new styles, but my past trepidation around some indie brands (indie brands in general, that is to say, no brands specifically) has all but vanished. In fact, I've swung so far as to have a desire to NOT buy known brands these daysOnce in my young life, I felt digital watches were the pinnacle. Why would anyone NOT have a digital watch?! Themed digitals (Star Wars), watches with games and with calculators occupied my top watch spots for years. Round about the time Oakley Frogskins (sunglasses ;) ) hit my radar, so did Tag Heuer. How often is enough?
How often should I rotate wearing my autos?I have three watches i care about wearing and no winder.Right now I wear them when ever i feel like it, sometimes I'll wear one for weeks then get another, wind it up and wear it for a few days to a few week then switch again; each time letting the non-worn wind down until i take them out for a spin.To me its like a car, you don't let it sit and run while your not going to be using it.So what do you guys recommend? Seems to me keeping them all runnning all the time adds extra wear, but monthly ( weekly) rotations are enough to spread the love...er I mean oil around and keep things happy.

What is the best way to keep watch???
I wear my Royal Oak 15400 only once a week. The rest of the time I just keep them on the shelf. I know that most of people keep their watches in winders. So is the winder necessary to keep my watch? Thank you

so, i have been in constant self deliberations over which model to pick up as my first AP - vascillating between the Schumi Ti and the FC GP.there are significant aspects i love about each - so much so that ive really found it impossible to choose.i have concluded that, ultimately, i will want (need) both of these - my concern now is in which order to get them.i really dislike purchasing pre-owned and worn, thus any purchase would need to be NIB (preferrably, still through an AD or other dealer). i can get either in this condition now but later on, when time to pick up the one not chosen now, im not so sure what availability (and, i guess, to some extent pricing) will be like between the two models.we dont have crystal balls but, given the above considerations, which would you advise picking up now, which will be easier to source NIB down the rowd, etc. part of me thinks the GP will be harder to source new later on, given its much older...but there are significantly less Schumi's tha
