Ulysse Nardin 246-22-8/391 wrist watches news:
I am in the market for a black dial, black bezel Seiko Auto Diver on a bracelet. Im not a fan of the monster, so I am looking for other options. I know there are a ton of members out there with them. Share you pros and cons on some of the models you think are the best. Pics are always welcome. My budget is 150-300 bucks give or take a little.Based on 1 suggestion the SKX007 on an Oyster. Thoughts?
Is there a "Kelly Blue Book" kind of thing for watches, winders, etc?I have some things I'd like to sell and, while I certainly know what I paid for them, I want to be sure I'm asking a fair price for them. Checking eBay doesn't always help, because auctions often end without result, so that only gives an indication of a price which may be too high.Saving something like that, if anyone has an encyclopedic knowledge of values, and would like to help me out, I'd appreciate it...
The dilemma: I like the following watches for different reasons-The Royal Oak Offshore stainless diver Beautiful and timeless. drawback- can't admire the momement-The new 42mm Royal Oak Offshore models I like the design and size and the return to a modest pushers in ceramic drawback- wish the bezel was ceramicWhich watch would you purchase? Why? Any pics of the new ROO 42mm are welcome. Love you diver pics too
As I posted a while back, had really not given a close look to AP until recently, but was hooked after a leisurely session trying on many models during a recent vacation. Landed on this one (15300ST in white). I think it's a classic -I love the workmanship, the proportions and the simplicity of the dial. Special thanks to DavidSW - he makes it way too easy!
I am looking for advice on my next watch. I work from home and have a successful internet business, but I rarely wear formal attire... Mainly high end brand shirts, shorts and jeans (Armani, Gucci, Burberry, Etro, etc.). Great brands but their more casual or dress casual stuff. And short sleeve most of the year because I live in florida. Also, I wear nice shorts and Gucci or Prada sandals a lot. Actually I may be a bit more of a casual dresser even, only with high end brands.I say all this just to paint a picture to make your advice tailored to what I wear. I have looked at the AP 15400, 15300 and 15202 AND the Patek Nautilus and Aquanaut only briefly. I am drawn to get a Patek first.I know its all about personal preference, but if anyone has both an Aquanaut and Nautilus, I would love your thoughts on which may be the better first choice in SS (put money and availability aside, because I know the Nautilus is harder to come by and a bit more expensive).I have been racking my brain and
