Submariner Date SS 16610 purchase...?
I'm looking to join the Rolex family. I'm interested in purchasing a Submariner Date SS. I've read on the forum that the new Submariners are coming out with the text around the dial (which I don't really mind having), but I've also read that Rolex will be releasing the Submariner with the Glidelock Clasp....here are my questions: 1. Has the Glidelock clasp version hit ADs yet?2. If they're not out yet, do you guys recommend I wait until the Glidelock clasp version comes out being how it's considered an improvement over the Fliplock? 3. What AD do you guys recommend for the purchase?4. Is 15-20% off MSRP the maximum discount, or have some of you received better deals than this?5. Are there any mechanical downsides to getting the date version over the non-date version? Perhaps any problems owners have expereienced with this particular model? 6. Tissot t-touch expert question...
I didn't see an area more appropriate, so I've decided to post here.For my birthday, my brother gave me a Tissot T-Touch Expert. I dig the watch, but have been having an issue with calibrating the METEO function.Every other function is properly synchronized and aligned. I found that page in the manual that deals with synchronization. Unfortunately, there are simply too many pictures and not nearly enough in the way of actual instructions. I can't get my digital portion of the watch to display "SYNCHRO". Absolutely nothing I try is working.Do I activate the glass and then press the center, and then press the center button for five seconds to get into SYNCHRO mode? Because that's not working. Do I have to page through something to get to the SYNCHRO function? Because I haven't been able to do anything like that, either.Every other function is aligned fine; it's just the METEO function.This is frustrating.This is what I have, and what I'm unable to correct:Thanks for any and all help!

I purchased a new Airking last year and was so close to selling or exchanging it for a submariner. However over the past few weeks it¡¯s grown on me and believe it will be a future icon. There is something special or unusual about this model that sets itself apart from the classic stainless steel models. Does the forum agree with me? I m interested in other options on the watch?
