In the 1970s there were special chronographs called "Soccer Timers" with markings on the registers for counting the 45 minute halves of a match. Hublot has taken things much further here with the Big Bang Unico Bi-Retrograde Chrono, building a mechanism from the ground up that is optimized for this function. The two retrograde hands clock the seconds and minutes on a specially designed scale and a window at the center of the dial shows which half is being timed. I actually found these in my desk, I'm not sure where they came from and I don't remember them, but ah well!Neither of them work sadly, both could use some TLC. The gold one seems to be an older late 1800's, the white one maybe a teens-20's or even 30'sOne of the gears fell out when I opened it, can it be put back?Not much else I can say, I wonder what finish is on the silverish Elgin's Dial?

Was wondering when one of the blogs would do a piece about this model.I've seen the advertisement with Clooney wearing it, but didn't realize it had the line George Clooney¡¯s Choice. Not a fan of celebrity attachments to watches, but at least it's not stamped on the watch, or called something terrible like the Clooney Limited edition. I must say I'm very impressed by this watch. It's my second Omega, first one was a Seamaster Chrono that ai had between 1998-2005In this watch, feel of the quality definitely has been improved. Being a titanium it only weighs 120 grams, of course rubber strap has a kick in this too.Well,another thing that I like is the regatta timer. I'm not involving any yacht ⛵ event but that doesn't mean it would be quirk to have a watch with the countdown timer.Metal badge on the box 📦 definitely adds a value to the watch box too That's it for now,hope you like the watch as well
