I can be rough on watches. I want a watch that is large, shock resistant, diver like, and not have many hands. Day and or date is a plus.I ordered a Seiko Monster. I read that the watch gains time on a daily basis. I may give it to my son. Is there a watch that is say 44mm or so that is durable, keeps excellent time, and can be bought for under $350?I looked at the Marathon SAR and the JSAR. But the price of the braclets ran me away from these choices.
Does anyone know how many of the new ROO Rose Gold 42mm on bracelets they produce each year. I was also told the boutiques only receive two pieces a year and i just find that number to be very low. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
For months I¡¯ve considered upgrading my meager two-watch ¡°collection,¡± currently comprised of a stainless steel Breguet Marine and a rose gold JLC MUT Moon. I¡¯ve initiated several forum threads during my search and have received many kind replies from TRF members.I initially focused upon a yellow gold Rolex Day-Date because I had the opportunity to buy a new one from an AD at a reasonable price.
