- I ordered two of these watches. They are nice looking for a fair price. I own numerous much more expensive watches, and these are for everyday use. Good value for the money, received lots of compliments.

The seller is saying it is from 1950..new strap/buckle but movement is an original omega. The dial looks wrong to me though and I can't find an example on the interwebs. Anyone recognize it?
I was admiring the beauty of 5227 on Youtube and was wondering if anyone here has one.I have the 5127, which I purchased new before the 5227 came out.I was heartbroken when I saw the 5227's officer caseback but was relieved when I saw the shocking price tag on the white gold 5227: $37500!!!!!!!For that price, you could probably buy a dress watch from Lange AND buy sport watches one from AP one from Rolex!!But that officer's caseback is really to die for.
