Cartier 2424 wrist watches news:
Just arrived this AM, Kazimon 1500 bronze:
Hi everyone, I have been sort of hanging around this part of TRF incognito, posting replies every so often at the stunning PP pics you guys post. I have come across this watch recently that a friend might be selling. I am not sure which model this is. Is this particular one desirable? Is it part of the lines of PP that people are on waiting list and paying a premium for. Thanks everyone for helping a newbie PP admirer. BTW, that is my wrist that the watch is mounted on. How freely should the rotor move on a 335?I've noticed that my normal activity (commute via bicycle to and from work ~12min each way) and walking around work all day (estimated to be 10-20K steps/ day), do not seem to be keeping my recently acquired pre-owned Panerai 335 wound. When viewed through the see-through case back the rotor does not swing as freely as several of my other watches.I do have an identical movement 273 but it is in a safe a few states away from me currently so I do not have the ability to compare at the moment, but from memory, the rotor on that watch moves much more freely. The watch is keeping excellent time - not formally tested, but with 2 weeks of daily wear I have not noticed any creep forward or backward in time shown, no matter the state of power reserve. With the current litany of complaints about Panerai Service Center, I'm a bit loathe to send the watch in unless this is a real issue.
G'day everyone.. I am just wondering what are your thoughts on the 364?I personally own DSSD and I find that watch to be amazingly wearable and macho and over engineered. However, I like really big macho watches. I am considering adding on te 364 soon. Love to hear your thoughts! I currently own 305, 328, 372 and the DSSD.HAGWE .. Jane
Im in Cabo for vacation right now and happened to see a Rolex sign. Walk in and this store has just about every high end watch in 1 place. I'm talking like Hublot, ton's of Panerai, Cartier, AP, and a lot of cheaper ones like Gucci/etc. But best of all, a pretty nice stock of Rolexes. Literally the biggest stock of Rolex I've ever seen at an AD in person. Seemed to have everything besides the BLRN, Hulk, SS daytona, and SS Subs.I get to talking with the sales guy for like an hour and a half. I asked about price increases, he said he wasn't really worried about them because 'yes they're coming, but might not be till end of the year and it wont be significant'. -Now that just threw me off, because the local ad (in South Dakota) was freaking out saying shortage/AHHHH/:omg:/etc and prices are going to increase 10-22% probably around April.Asked about the shortage and again he's like yeah they're limiting supply on Professional models or at least making them harder to get unless you have a
