- I bought this watch for its nostalgic value, but mainly for work. I am a veterinary technician and am always calculating in a fast-paced environment. It's so convenient not to have to scramble for a calculator!

When we last looked at Marathon, I was quite impressed by their affordable and attractive Navigator watch. It was straightforward, simple, legible, lightweightˇeverything you want in a good day-to-day beater. But the Navigator is really only the tip of the iceberg of what Marathon has to offer. In fact, when a lot of people think of Marathon, they think of their tough-as-nails diver/SAR watches. These big, brutal, mil-spec watches in solid steel aren't kidding around. They are known for their build quality, no-nonsense designs and rugged looks. In somewhat of a surprising move, Marathon released a new entry to their diver line designed for those looking for a smaller option. The descriptively named "Diver's Quartz Medium" takes the looks and build of it's larger brethren, namely the 42mm TSAR, and reduces the package by 20%. The new size comes in at a surprising 36 x 43.5 x 12.5mm. Yup, a 36mm super-tough, mil-spec dive watch. While 36mm is more of a small than a medium (unless they hav
one watch i keep coming back to– mostly due to its simplicity…
I've owned a few PPs with 324 movement and just curious if 240 movement is as robust as 324? any inputs would be great.
Ok, let's get this over with. I have to confess that I got this one horribly, horribly wrong. I could've sworn the 233 I was admiring a couple of weeks back had a normal crystal. My guy at OP has just confirmed the 233 still has the domed crystal. I'm now off to go find a huge towel to wipe the egg off my face. My apologies guys. See attached pics of an S Serial 233 (I've edited out the number), which my man has just sent me.
