Breitling has launched a new website and it features a complete profile, including technical data, for all of their new models introduced this year. Breitling also unveils a new configurator that lets you select from menus of available cases, dials, bracelets and straps so you can configure a Breitling to suit your taste. You can share your creation with friends, or e-mail it to your sales associate for more information. To take a test drive, click the graphic below or visit Breitling and click Configurator.

New project...1970's Airking
Gonna run it through the spa but it is running well. Serial 5479XXX, model 5500. The end links are stamped 60...anyone know what year that makes the bracelet date to? I don't think it is original to this watch. It has rivets...Crystal looks good and case just needs a polish. Figured with the Explorer gone I needed to fill a void quickly..lol

My new 1924 Waltham
Just received my new to me Waltham yesterday. Actually it is in better original shape than I thought it would be and running very accurate -so far. Have a question on the crown - seems to be loose and sticking out a bit - can push it in but springs out again - seems odd - anyone have a similar model? Thanks Paulsellers pic - notice the crownps - the hands still really glow in the dark!

What Started Your Watch Collection
Every since I was a little kid I was always fascinated with watches my father had a couple old pocket watches in his drawer and I would go in his room and look at them every chance I got. Then my grandmother got me a Westclock pocket watch for my birthday and that was it I had to have more. My taste evolved from there as I got older and had more money I started buying Seiko's and bought them for quite a while, then I was driving up I-75 and saw a billboard with a Breitling Chronograph and fell in love so I went to the jewelers that had the billboard and did not know watches could cost that much so I did not get my Breitling that day but I never stop thinking about it. I did the next best thing I went looking for a watch that was a chronograph but less money. I ended up with a Sector for $1000 and after about two years I got my first charge card and guess what I bought you guessed it a Breitling Chronomat all steel with a silver face and blue subs. Finally Part Of The Club
It took 6 months to come in but is definitely worth the wait. For those looking to get their first Patek, I highly recommend the 5711 as many others have suggested. I ordered the Blue Dial sight unseen and pics do this piece no justice. Thanks to Ken, Ian, Jorge, Mike, Dan, Sam, Paul, David, and all of the other TRF enablers who turned me on to this amazing brand. Hopefully the other piece I ordered will arrive by year's end.
